How to get your lingerie in order
The first step to getting organised is to clear out. Empty all your lingerie out and start sorting! It’s time to throw away if you find anything that is:
- Greying, faded or dull
- Stretched or has holes
- Out of shape or has underwires poking out
- No longer comfortable or the wrong size
Next, go through what you have left and decide if there’s anything essential that you need new of. Make sure you have enough every day lingerie so you don’t have to wash the same items over and over again during the week. Owning some skin toned coloured items is important for wear under white or light coloured clothing. You may want to check you have enough styles suited to wear with specific outfits.
Consider getting some drawer dividers so you can neatly arrange your lingerie items together. You will then be able to find what you are looking for easily.
Briefs can be rolled or laid flat. For delicate items, it is better to lay them flat. Try to stand up and stack bras one in front of the other. Avoid folding them.
Lastly, place a scented sachet or two in your drawer for lightly fragranced lingerie.
